At Kiwiexplorers, we believe tamariki and adults thrive together when learning is guided by genuine care. We provide a stimulating, safe environment with rich, uninterrupted play. Kaiako act as encouragers and resources, facilitating, scaffolding and celebrating each child’s ideas and endeavours.
We build children’s mana by offering real choices and meaningful challenges, so they can create, act on their ideas, and make decisions that matter to them. We recognise their right to wellbeing, protection, and equitable opportunities to participate and learn.
We see the whole child. Learning connects across domains and builds on strengths, with the active role of whānau woven through each child’s learning journey.
We foster wellbeing by partnering with families, respecting culture and knowledge, and creating strong, consistent connections across children’s worlds.

Gentle beginnings with manaaki and aroha. We nurture tamariki as they explore through play, routine, and calm sensory experiences.
2 – 3 yearsNgā Kaitiaki Iti
Curiosity blossoms! We lean into ako, waiata, and pukapuka to build language, independence, and whanaungatanga.
3 – 4 yearsNgā Kārearea Iti
Preparing for school with rich play, problem-solving, and teamwork. We build confidence, tikanga, and a love of learning.
